My question to you is: Where do you get your inspiration?
For me, inspiration comes from lots of things. Noticing little things people do and thinking, “Hey, my character might do something like that…” and then adding it in. It sometimes comes from movies, dreams, or other books. Maybe even music. The things I see during the day, people’s actions, and other things like that also help. Especially if you’re trying to develop your characters. Make sure your character has a flaw (clumsiness doesn’t count). And last but not least, know your character.
